Hypermedia is an open mic night, created 3 years ago by Gravesend born creatives Harriet Hammond and Joseph Cleary. They have hosted over 20 events in the town, including multiple collaborations with artists across Kent and London. They welcome all forms of performance including music, instrumentals, poetry, spoken word and short stories, and welcome any aged performer, at any level. People are also welcome to watch the show without performing.

For “is our river alive, do our marshes dream?” They have partnered with Fiona Spirals, after bonding over their shared love of the marshes and river, to produce a lowkey and curated event in St Mary’s church.

There will be multiple poetry performances from Kent based poets, as well as a couple of music performances, as well as the opportunity to buy Fiona’s book.
