No Ordinary Protest

Between Saturday 22nd May and Sunday 13th June 2021, St Mary’s has a very special event running as part of the Estuary Festival 2021. The artist Mikhail Karikis has created a fabulous video installation called ‘No Ordinary Protest’, based on the novel ‘The Iron Woman’, with the help of primary school children from London. The work explores the children’s political voice and activist imagination and is well worth a visit. The exhibition can be viewed between 10am and 5pm.
